Conservation work has officially got underway on one of Grimsby's most iconic buildings.

The Alfred Enderby smokehouse is a grade 2 listed structure and is located on the Port of Grimsby.

They produce traditionally smoked salmon.

Now a heritage grant of 120 thousand pounds has been secured which will see work including repairs and reinstating the old fashioned chimneys.
