Two sentenced after attempted robberies
The men appeared at Hill Crown Court last week

Lewis Patterson (31) and Dean Stanley (34) both from Hull went into a shop in the North point shopping centre and threatened a cashier and demanded money on Friday 19 February 2021.
They enterered the same shop the next day and yet again demanded money from a cashier.
A spokesperson from Humberside Police, said:
“The duo also pleaded guilty to a robbery that occurred at a store on Cheltenham Avenue, Hull, on Saturday 20 February 2021.
Patterson was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months in jail, with Stanley sentenced to 4 years and 10 months.”
