Poppy appeal in North East Lincolnshire WILL still go ahead
That's despite many North East Lincolnshire poppy volunteers being in the vulnerable category.
Organisers of the poppy appeal in North East Lincolnshire say it WILL still go ahead despite around a third of their volunteers not able to take part because of the pandemic.
Many of the those who would normally sell them are in the vulnerable category.
There are alternatives like printable poppies for those who can't leave their home.
However the Royal British Legion in the Grimsby area says it's vital people do support the appeal.
