Grimsby Town say they've been overwhelmed by the demand from their season ticket holders as they've completely sold out of 4621 tickets for the FA Cup Quarter-Final at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Last night the club sold tickets to supporters who queued after their home game against Newport County, through the night online and this morning supporters via the Ticket Office.

A spokesperson from the club said:

"We would like to apologise to any supporter who has not been able to get a ticket for the game – we have been completely overwhelmed by the demand from our season ticket holders.

Thanks for your magnificent support this season."

It's the first time The Mariners have reached this stage of the FA cup sine 1939. The match will kick off at 2:15pm at the Premier League club’s Amex Stadium on 19th March.
