An organised crime gang who ran a cannabis growing operation out of a former Grimsby bank have been jailed for a total of 13 and a half years.

Police say they produced drugs with a street value of around ÂŁ500,000 at the empty Bethlehem Street property.

Hundreds of plants up to 3 feet high were discovered with a sophisticated system of lighting and water to help their growth.

One gang member faces 6 and a half years in prison after being found guilty of a number of offences

While two others were jailed for 3 and a half years each.
