Infection rate rises above 300 per 100,000 in North East Lincolnshire putting the borough highest in the region
North East Lincolnshire council has reported the area to be the 14th highest in the country for infection rates

This week’s data for North East Lincolnshire up to June 15th shows two confirmed cases of COVID in the Diana, Princes of Wales Hospital, and one death associated with COVID in the last week.
Health bosses there say it’s due to outbreaks in the hospitality, factory and education (schools and further education) sectors.
Cases are mainly being identified in the under 40’s who are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated.
Since 1stJune, 1,022new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in North East Lincolnshire, over half of which were confirmed in the last week.
