Murder investigation underway in Cleethorpes

It's after a man who sustained stab wounds has now died

Police have launched a murder investigation in Cleethorpes, after a man who sustained stab wounds has now died.

On the 21st July Police were called out to reports a group of men were fighting on Grant Street outside the Swashbuckle Tavern. A man was then discovered with stab wounds.

The man was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment where he remained in a critical condition for 26 days.

Today, Tuesday 15 August, he died from his injuries.

The victim’s family are currently being supported by specialist trained officers at this incredibly difficult time.

Four people were previously charged in connection with the incident.
