Motorcyclist dead following 4 vehicle collision on A1079

A motorcyclist has died following a 4 vehicle collision on the A1079 near the David Smith Garden Centre.

At around 9 o'clock yesterday morning a biker, two cars and a HGV collided at Wilberfoss.

We're told it was a blue Suzuki VL800 motorcycle, a silver Hyundai I10, a dark coloured VW Caravelle and a white DAF HGV that were involved.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services and the man's family are now being supported by specially trained officers.

Humberside Police say "Our thoughts are with them are this extremely difficult time.

"If you witnessed the collision, have dashcam or any CCTV from around the area at the time of the incident, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 116 of 15 March."
