Man seriously injured in Grimsby assault
He was attacked in a bar back in May
A man has been treated in hospital for serious injuries after an assault in Grimsby.
It happened on May 28th at around 11:30pm at a bar on St Nicholas Drive.
The victim was sat in the bar when he was approached from behind by an unknown man and pulled backwards off a stool.
He fell to the floor and was assaulted, before being knocked unconscious.
Staff intervened and the man was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come come forward.
