Man arrested in Cleethorpes following disturbance

A 40-year-old man is in custody

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of assault following reports of a disturbance in Cleethorpes.

Officers were called to an address on St Peters Avenue around 1.30am today (4th April) following a report a man had taken to the upstairs of a property.

A scene guard was put in place to ensure the safety of the public whilst the incident was brought to a safe conclusion.

The 40-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of breaching a non-molestation order.

He remains in Police custody.
