Humberside police sees rise in the number of suspected victims of modern slavery

The increase came during lockdown

Humberide Police has seen a 40 percent increase in the number of referrals of suspected victims of modern slavery during the lockdown.

In the first quarter there were 25 calls.

That rose to 35 in the second quarter of 2020.

But Lincolnshire Police saw a 60 percent drop, from 63 to 25 over the same period.
