Huge power cut still affecting people in Grimsby

Hundreds of homes and businesses across Grimsby have been left without power.

The problems first started yesterday afternoon (31 March), with properties in the Freshney, Park, West Marsh and Yarborough wards affected.

Northern Powergrid says it is 'working to get power back on' but as of this morning (1 April) power remains off for around 200 properties.

The website has released an update saying there is an estimated resolution time of 10pm.
