Hate crime based on sexual orientation rises in Humberside police area.
Latest figures show 228 cases.
The number of hate crime reports made to Humberside Police, based on the victims sexual orientation, have increased by almost 16 percent.
From 2018 to 19, there were 197 cases.
That increased to 228 the following year.
But, Hate crime figures overall have decreased in the area.
