Grimsby Town are confident they can deal with the pressure at tonight's big FA Cup fifth round game at Premier league Southampton.

The Mariners haven't reached this stage of the competition since 1996.

But excellent displays in previous rounds mean they'll be optimistic making the 6th round is not an insurmountable task.

We spoke to Captain Luke Waterfall:

"All the pressure is going to be on Southampton - we are going there as massive underdogs against a premier league team.

"I'm hoping the lads don't feel any pressure, there's going to be nerves obviously but in terms of pressure I don't see there being any.

"I just think we can hopefully go there and give a good account of ourselves and hopefully pull off the unthinkable".

Manager Paul Hurst says it should be a great atmosphere:

"There'll be over 4,000 fans and certainly a lot of Harry Haddocks in the stand cheering us on so pleased for that.

"It's a little bit of fun - that's what we are sort of supposed to be, in an entertainment industry. It's another little piece that will make the night special for our fans.

"It's a big evening, obviously added interest with the run that the players have been on, national coverage, in terms of the game being on TV.

"But ultimately it's just another game of football and we've got to go there and show everyone the best version of ourselves I suppose".
