Police in Grimsby are investigating reports a woman's handbag was stolen

Police in Grimsby are appealing for information regarding a report a woman's handbag was stolen.

It's thought to have taken place between Peoples Park and Bargate Avenue after 10 on Wednesday night.

It's said a woman was barged by a man on a bike who fled the scene with her handbag.

Humberside Police released this statement:

We are now appealing for anybody who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area or may have been in the area at the time of the incident that may assist officers with lines of enquiry to contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting investigation reference 24*131180.
