The MP for Cleethorpes says the UK's relationship with Iceland is crucial in order to help retain thousands of jobs in the seafood processing sector in North East Lincolnshire
Martin Vickers met recently with the Icelandic Ambassador and Foreign Minister, along with Grimsby MP Lia Nici.
While they think there could be some short term administration upheaval due to the transition period out of the EU he says they're committed to working together.
Many seafood businesses in North East Lincs work closely with Iceland.
