Supporters in Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham disappointed after World cup defeat
The Women's team lost one nil to Spain
It wasn't the result we wanted.
England's women lost 1 nil to Spain in the World Cup final.
However there were plenty of positives to take from the tournament, particularly after last years win in the Euros.
And of course there's no shame in being the second best team in the world.
The game was watched by thousands across North East Lincolnshire.
Many headed to their local pub or community hub to see the game, others watched at home.
We went to the Kings Head in Waltham near Grimsby and got fans to put their reaction into words following that defeat.
They gave it their all and that's what counts
Here are a few of their responses:
"Bit disappointed but it doesn't take anything away from them, good to watch and a good performance."
"They'll come back an even stronger team I think, they've done really well to get where they are today - obviously they didn't win it but it doesn't matter, because they gave it their all and that's all that counts."
"It's been wonderful to watch and we've totally enjoyed it - God bless you girls you've done fantastic - we love you."
It's a shame they didn't bring it home - but good game
"They've done amazing to get where they've got to but they just didn't pull it out the bag today - devastated."
"Did I think it was a fair game today - yes I do. Do I think it's a fair score - unfortunately yes but they played very very well."
"I think they did a great job - they did the best they could and that's all that anyone could ask for. I think they've done brilliant to get where they've got today and good on them - that's what I say."
"We still got into the final - still a bit disappointed but it doesn't take anything away from them - good to watch and a good performance."
"Today they were a little bit overwhelmed by the Spanish tactical play and I think in the future if they learn from this they can still go on and make history."
"Disappointing - it's a shame they didn't bring it home but good game."
"Very proud of them - they've done the country proud."
