Police investigating the death of a man in Grimsby are continuing to treat it as "unexplained" but now say it's not thought to be suspicious.

Officers discovered the body at a property on Rutland Street yesterday lunchtime following concerns for the safety of the occupant.

The area was cordoned off last night for emergency services to investigate the scene.

Officers have released more information this morning.

It confirms after their investigations they're not treating the death as suspicious.

However they still need to try and work out the exact circumstances which led to the death.
