Cleethorpes MP is backing the Government's stance on nurses pay
Nurses across the country are walking out today

Nurses are striking for a second day today over pay and conditions.
The Royal College of Nursing are calling for a 19 percent increase.
They argue the pressure nurses are under and recruitment issues mean a larger pay rise than the one they've been given is vital.
Many nurses in the region back the action, although they won't be walking out here because the ballot in this area didn't reach the required threshold.
Cleethorpes MP Martin Vickers has told he backs the Government's stance.
He says: "The nurses have been offered an increase in line with what the independent panel have recommended."
"The 19 per cent is not affordable and the reality is we're in an economic downturn at the moment."
"When you're dealing with the public sector it's more difficult because normal market forces don't necessarily apply."
"That's why we have independent panels who not only look at the individuals' circumstances but also supply and demand in terms of staffing and so on."
