A film about a young man from Gloucestershire’s cancer journey is set to be shown at the Royal Albert Hall tonight.

It’s a part of a fundraising event for Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that helped him through his treatment and remission.

Keeslee Lanfear was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2023 when he was just 21 years old.

Since being in remission Keelsee has raised thousands of pounds for the charity and will appear on stage at the event to appeal for donations.

He told Greatest Hits Radio why fundraising for Tenage Cancer Trust is so important to him: “There’s so many people that unfortunately do get diagnosed with cancer.

“It’s so important that that sort of charity is still there and still being funded because it made my journey so much better than what I thought it was going to be like.”

Speaking on his cancer journey Keeslee said “Going through stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was a real rollercoaster and its really nice I’ve actually got this film to look back on and think about what I went through.

“Obviously as hard as it was, its made me such a different person now that in a way I’m sort of thankful for it because its made me so much stronger.”
