Woman sexually assaulted at Cheltenham club

Police are appealing for people to come forward with information after a woman was sexually assaulted at a Cheltenham nightclub.

The incident happened on the dancefloor at MooMoo's in the early hours of Tuesday morning (22 February).

A woman was approached by a man as she danced and he put his hands up her skirt.

She managed to push him away and reported the incident to police.

A 19-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and released on bail while enquiries continue.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the club at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious.
