Woman left with serious injuries and two men arrested after quad bike crash in the Cotswolds

Two men have been arrested following a quad boke accident in Shipton Moyne, leaving a woman with serious injuries.

The woman in her 20s, is believed to have fallen off a quad bike that overturned on Whitehouse Lane shortly after 2pm.

An air ambulance flew the woman to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and she remains there today (Sunday 24 December).

A man is believed to have made off from the scene on a quad bike and was later found and arrested following a search involving the police helicopter.

A second man was also later arrested.

Two men, aged 29 and 30 and from the Cotswolds, remain in police custody in connection with the incident.

The road was reopened at around 10pm following a collision investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the quad bike being driven prior to the incident can provide information to police online.
