Woman attacked in Bishop's Cleeve

Police are appealing for information after an attack on a woman in Bishop's Cleeve.

Police are asking any witnesses of those with cctv footage to get in touch.

Police are appealing for information after an attack on a woman in Bishop's Cleeve.

A woman in her 40s was walking along the A435, at around 9pm on Friday (20 August), shortly before the roundabout, by the car dealership in Bishops Cleeve when a man attacked her.

She was left on the floor with facial injuries from the incident.

The suspect was waiting at the nearby bus stop before he approached her.

The motives of the attack are currently unknown.

The offender is described as being a man wearing a dark blue or black hoodie.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have seen the man in the area around the time to call police on 101 quoting incident 189 of 21 August.

Investigating officers would also ask anyone with any dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact police.
