Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information and witnesses after three men - armed with weapons - forced entry into a home and threatened those inside.

It happened on Phelps Mill Close in Dursley on Friday evening.

No-one was injured during the incident but the victims were left badly shaken by the ordeal.

Armed officers were sent to the scene with an axe recovered from a nearby property.

A man was arrested in connection with the incident and he's since been bailed whilst investigations continue.

Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have any information and has not yet spoken to police, to make contact.

Two of the suspects were described as wearing dark-coloured clothing with hoods while the third suspect was reported to be wearing a light blue hoodie and black Adidas jogging bottoms.

All three men were wearing balaclavas on their faces.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who has doorbell, mobile phone or dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant.
