Witness appeal after cyclist bitten by dog in Gloucester park

It happened on Tuesday 26th November with the cyclist bitten on the ankle.

Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a cyclist was bitten by a dog in Gloucester.

Gloucestershire Constabulary say the man was cycling through the park by the Gloucester Old Boys Rugby Club on Myers Road at around 0750am on Tuesday 26th November when he was attacked.

The man continued making his way to work but police say he later attended hospital and received antibiotics for an injury just above his ankle.

Gloucestershire Police say whilst the breed of dog isn't known - a group of dog walkers are often in the park and officers are asking anyone with information regarding the dog or owner to come forward.
