Witness appeal after man punched in chest in Gloucester

Police say the incident happened last night in the city

Police in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the chest last night (Wednesday 6 April).

The victim was assaulted between 9.50pm and 10.10pm yesterday in Estcourt Close.

The punch caused him to fall to the ground and hit his head; however, he was not believed to be injured in the incident.

Officers are particularly looking for two women who stopped to check on the welfare of the victim at the time.
