The police need to hear from witnesses after a fatal car crash in Thornbury near Bristol.

Two weeks ago on Thursday 4 May a car hit a wall on Rock Street driving towards Midland Way, shortly after the Streamleaze junction.

The male driver was seriously injured while a woman in the passenger seat died six days later in hospital.

The driver remains in a critical condition.

Avon and Somerset Police are now asking for witnesses to the crash, which happened at 10:50am, to come forward.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who remembers seeing a Honda Jazz in the area that morning, is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5223103620.
