The family of Richard Nash say "the village won't be the same without him"
The family of a man, who died in Bussage near Stroud earlier this week, have thanked members of the public - for coming to his aid.
Police say they believe 54-year-old Richard Nash had a medical episode whilst driving on Tuesday (25th October).
Mr Nash's Ford Ranger collided with a pole, and came to a stop in a hedge.
Emergency services, including the Air Ambulance attended, and despite best efforts from them and members of the public, Mr Nash died at the scene.
His family have released a statement which says: "A well-known local man and respected builder Richard Nash sadly passed away on 25 October in Bussage following a medical episode in his truck whilst returning home from work.
"The village won’t be the same without him. Rest in peace Rich, forever loved xx."
"Claire and family would like to thank everybody that came to his aid at the scene and for all the cards and messages of condolence."
