Trial for man for pleading not guilty to non-recent indecent assaults

A man from Stonehouse is due to stand trial after pleading not guilty to non-recent indecent assault offences.
75-year-old David Hoskins from Ryelands Road appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Monday (7 July) where he pleaded not guilty to seven counts of indecent assault on two boys under the age of 14.
Hoskins has been released on bail and is due to appear at Gloucester Crown Court for trial in December 2026.
Gloucestershire Police say the offences are alleged to have taken place in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire and Margate, Kent between 1966 to 1971 and 1992 to 1999.

A Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We would like to remind all concerned that proceedings against Hoskins are now active, and he has the right to a fair trial.
"There should be no reporting, commentary, or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."
