Three arrests after fatal crash in Forest of Dean
A woman in her 30s died on the B4228 between Sling and St Braivels
Three people have been arrested in connection with a fatal crash in Gloucestershire on Friday evening.
A Fiesta and a Mini collided on the B4228 between the villages of Sling and St Braivels in the Forest of Dean.
The driver of the Mini, a local woman aged in her 30s, died at the scene. Her family is being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Fiesta remains in hospital after he sustained serious injuries.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and one of them has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A third person attended a police station on Saturday evening and was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw either the blue Ford Fiesta or a silver Volkswagen Golf driving between Coleford and Sling prior to the collision.
They are also asking for anyone with dashcam footage of either of these vehicles to come forward.
