Three men arrested after drugs and cash seized in Cheltenham

Three men from Cheltenham have been arrested after the police carried out four drug-related raids at the same time this morning

Class A drugs as well as approximately £40,000 in cash were found

Officers from the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Local Policing team carried out four warrants in the St Paul’s and Hatherley areas, with support from the Dogs Unit.

The arrests were made after a large quantity of Class A drugs were discovered within the properties as well as approximately £40,000 in cash and suspected stolen items.

One man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs after a large quantity of cocaine was found.

A second man, also in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering after thousands of pounds of cash was discovered.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of an offensive weapon and breaching his license after cash, weapons and suspected stolen items were found at his address.

All three men remain in police custody at this time.
