Appeal after fatal crash on B4014 between Tetbury and Malmesbury

Police are appealing for information after a woman has died in a collision involving a car and motorbike on the B4014 between Tetbury and Malmesbury.

The collision, which involved a Volvo C70 and a Kawasaki ZR motorcycle, happened shortly after 5.30pm close to Long Newnton on Wednesday 31st of July.

The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old woman from Swindon, was declared dead at the scene. Her next of kin and the coroner have been informed.

The driver of the Volvo, a 78-year-old woman, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.

Anyone with information or who has relevant dashcam footage is asked to come forward.
