Following an appeal last Friday (1 November) to identify a person in connection with a report of a sexual assault, a man has now come forward.

Police issued a mobile phone image of a man who they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident at Old Richians Rugby Club in Elmbridge on Saturday 31 August.

A man in his 40s from Cheltenham has been voluntarily interviewed by officers.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers have thanked the media and public for their help in sharing the appeal.
