Police appeal for witnesses after crash leaves person with serious injuries
The A40 was closed for most of Thursday after the crash
Police appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious crash which happened on the A40 yesterday morning.
Police were called to the A40 at Sherborne shortly before 5.15am after of a three vehicle collision between Burford and the junction with the A429 roundabout near Northleach.
The collision involved a white Volvo articulated HGV lorry, grey Mazda 6 and black Vauxhall Insignia.
The Cheltenham man in his 20s sustained serious injuries and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment.
The road was closed for most of the day whilst investigation works took place, and it only reopened late last night.
