Re-appeal after serious Northleach crash
A woman remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition
Officers investigating a serious collision on the A40 in Northleach at the end of last month are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
In particular they would like to speak to the driver of a light coloured transit style van as it is believed they may have seen what happened and could help with the investigation.
Additionally, police would like to hear from anyone who travelled along the route and has dashcam footage, particularly between the Northleach and Burford roundabouts.
Police had been called to the A40 London Road in Northleach shortly after 8.40am on Saturday 28 May following a report of a two vehicle collision near to Bedwell Farm.
The collision involved two cars, a blue Peugeot and silver BMW.
A man, woman and child from the Peugeot were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with suspected serious injuries.
The woman remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. The man and child were discharged after being assessed.
The driver of the BMW was arrested at the scene and taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to be assessed.
He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Investigating officers are asking the driver of the van or anyone who hasn't already spoken to police to please get in contact.
Additionally they would like to hear from anyone who saw the silver BMW prior to the collision.
