They will be wearing rainbow laces as part of Stonewall's lace it up campaign.

The campaign aims to end discrimination towards LGBTQ+ individuals within our sporting communities.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the national campaign.

Stonewall said it is proud of the progress made so far but there is still work to be done.

Gloucestershire FA are encouraging teams in the area to get involved.

Sam Myatt, the Equality and Workforce Development manager there, said: "It's a chance to show solidarity and support for those individuals and to ensure that they feel supported and can be themselves within sport.

"It's great to see ourselves and other counties do some really good work around supporting and sharing the campaign.

"But we're also seeing it at the elite level, it really is now being seen on the biggest of world stages which at least is a conversation starter for people.

"It's really important that people feel football is for them.

"It should be fun and inclusive for everybody."
