Police begin investigation following report of serious sexual assault in Gloucester
It's reported to have happened in Abbeymead near to Coney Hill Park last night (November 30)
Police are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault in the Abbeymead area of Gloucester.
It's believed a girl was raped in a wooded area near to Coney Hill Park yesterday evening between 6pm and 8.30pm.
Officers say they’re in the early stages of the investigation and forensic inquiries are taking place.
So far, no arrests have been made – and police are now appealing to anyone who was in the area, or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward.
The teenager is now receiving support from specialist officers.
