Police ask public for help identifying these two men following an alleged assault in Gloucester

Gloucestershire Police have issued a CCTV image of two men they would like to identify in connection with an assault which happened in Gloucester last month.

They were called to the town on Wednesday, May 19 after reports a victim who was stood outside Boots on Eastgate Street around 16:40 when two men, each carrying a crutch, approached him.

It was reported that the man on the left of the image then went on to punch the victim to the left cheek causing bruising and a wound to his head.

Both of the men ran off leaving the victim lying on the floor with him subsequently requiring treatment by paramedics.

Police have completed a number of enquiries since the incident but are yet to identify the men, who are believed to be in their late teens/early 20s, and are now asking for information from the public.
