Police are appealing for drivers to come forward after a man died on Painswick Road after a collision with a car.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts of the emergency services who found him while on the way to another incident.

The car involved in the collision stopped at the scene.

Police are asking for the driver of a white vehicle that was seen on Matson Avenue just after midnight to come forward as they believe they may have witnessed the collision.
