Teenager taken to hospital after assault in Gloucester

Police are now appealing for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault in Gloucester last night (Sunday 10 April).

A 17-year-old boy from Gloucester remains in a serious but stable condition following a stabbing.

Officers were called to reports shortly after 9pm of an altercation between two groups on St Ann Way, close to the junction with Llanthony Road.

A 17-year-old boy from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.

Officers would like to speak to anybody who may have seen any kind of disturbance in the area at around 9pm. They would also like anyone who believes they may have relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
