Police have secured a partial closure order at a home in Gloucester City Centre to help protect a vulnerable person from being exploited.

The order prevents anyone other than the current occupant from entering the property - anybody who does enter faces being arrested.

It comes after a number of reports of anti-social behaviour and drug use at the property.

Sergeant Andrew Doyle, from the Gloucester City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Closure orders are one of the many tools the City Policing Team, in partnership with Solace and housing providers, use to safeguard and protect vulnerable members of the community from being exploited by criminals.

"They enable the occupants to feel safe in their property.”
