Racers met at Parsonage Street at midday for the annual tradition. And the wet weather did not put off the competitors who were looking for a flipping good time.
Fancy dress was encouraged and two unicorns who represented Dursley Pride were awarded the trophy for the best fancy dress costume.
Jamil Foster won the race, with Neil Malpass a close second.
Due to Pancake Day coinciding with the school holiday a Children's Race was held and was won by Betsy Bailey. All entrants received a special pancake race medal for taking part.
