From December holiday makers in Gloucestershire will have a more frequent option of travel to Bristol Airport.

National Express have announced plans for over 100 journeys a week to take place to and from Bristol Airport.

Its part of a plan to enhance connections to the airport and will run coaches from Birmingham, Gloucester, Cheltenham Arle Court park and ride, and Weston-super-Mare.

This coincides with Bristol Airports £400m upgrade which includes the construction of a new public transport interchange which will be one of the region’s largest coach and bus interchanges when complete.

Ed Rickard, Network Director for National Express, said: “We’re really pleased to be providing even more direct, affordable journeys, especially as people start to make travel plans for the festive season.”

Ticket prices will start from £5.70 and be available from the 12th of December.
