Motorcyclist dies after collision in Berkeley

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man died in a two-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 2:30pm on the 17th of June, at the B4066 Junction with Saniger Lane, towards Sharpness Docks.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s was from the local area, was found to have sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to make contact with Gloucestershire Police.
