Motorcyclist dies in collision with car in Stroud

A man in his 30s has died after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a van in Stroud.

The crash was reported on Bisley Road at around 10.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 23rd April).

A Yamaha motorbike and a blue Peugeot 207, driven by a man, were involved in the collision.

Members of the public stepped in to help at the scene before emergency services arrived.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses to the incident to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, or use the force website, quoting reference number 464 of 23rd April.
