Moped rider in hospital after serious collision in Gloucester
The man who's in his 30s suffered a serious leg injury in the collision yesterday
A man in his 30s is in hospital following a serious collision in Gloucester yesterday (January 19) afternoon.
The collision happened on Eastern Avenue near Lidl at about 2.55pm.
Emergency services attended the incident involving a moped, a red Volvo Estate, and a red Mini Cooper.
The moped rider, who is from Gloucester, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with a serious leg injury, where he remains.
The road was shut for around two hours following the incident.
Police are asking anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage that could help investigations to come forward.
