Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened in Kingsway last month.

Between 9pm and 9.15pm on Thursday 13 August there was a verbal altercation between a group of three men and a large group of teenagers outside Tesco Express.

The group of 10 to 15 teenagers then followed the men and assaulted them outside Pizza Hut, causing them varying levels of injury.

The teenagers had been in the area for a large part of the evening with most being on foot and a couple on bicycles.

Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone with information which could assist with identifying the teenagers to come forward.
