Man taken to hospital after crash in Cotswolds

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle collision in the Cotswolds.

It in Meysey Hampton near Fairford and left a man requiring medical treatment.

Police were called to the A417 in Meysey Hampton shortly after 8.30pm on Tuesday 22 November with a report that a car had collided with a tree.

The blue Ford Fiesta had been travelling from Fairford towards Poulton when the collision took place outside Greenacres Park residential home.

The driver was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon for treatment to injuries which were not thought to be serious.

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the collision as well as anyone who may have seen the car beforehand.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary.
