Man suffers serious injuries following collision in Gloucester

A man has suffered serious injuries following a collison in Gl;oucester this morning (Tuesday November 2).

Police were called to Tuffley Avenue at 8.55am to reports of a crash between a pedestrian and a car.

The man, who's in his 70s, has been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward to help with their enquiries.

The road remains closed in both directions while a collision investigation takes place.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police to contact them.

They would also like to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
