Man from Cheltenham pleads guilty to drug possession

The 39-year old was charged after the finding of a large quantity of cocaine and cash in the St Paul's area of Cheltenham

A man has pleaded guilty to drug possession following offences in Cheltenham last week.

39-year old, Richard Cooper, executed several drug warrants, and appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Friday 4 July. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of criminal property.

The case relates to a drug warrant relating to large amounts of cocaine and cash found at an address in the St Paul's area of Cheltenham last Thursday (3 July).

He has been remanded into custody and due to be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday 1 August.
